What is Weirdo?

A glorious celebration of all that is art and weird!

The mission of WEIRDO is to make less traditional and less generically popular aspects of art and culture accessible to the public, and to provide spaces and resources for art and ideas to grow and be presented.

Some combination of romanticized nostalgia and the thirst for new in which we try to create a space safe for artistic fun and expression. An extra dimension that is always there, but you can only observe when the conditions are right. A spell, a philosopher's stone, a deep love for our feeling of home and a consuming hatred of that which would tether us. Something that never existed that we feel a subconscious and almost unbearably deep loss for. Welcome to your own personal East Kensington. 

Overall, we are a show! A great show! Some would call us a festival! We are open to those who can get their sh*t together enough to seize the day. A mildly overwhelming curiosity. An amalgam of our expressions.
